Why it matters
What agent tracing changes
- Send traces from any agent.
- See each model call, tool call and action.
- Time and cost sit beside the review it needed.
- You cannot see what an agent actually did.
- Cost shows up later, as a bill.
- A bad run is hard to trace back.
The resultSee every step, and what it cost.
What you get
Agent tracing, in practice
Works with what you use
Send OpenTelemetry data, or use the SDK. No new agent framework to learn.
Time and cost per step
You enter your own model prices, so the cost is yours. Steps with no price are shown as unpriced, never guessed.
Loops caught
An agent that repeats the same call again and again is flagged.
