Write an automation rule in plain English
Type a rule in your own words. The Operations Agent says it back, shows the chain of agents it will use and waits for you to turn it on.
Step by step
Open Operations and type a rule in the box, for example: when a client pays, thank them and tell the PM to start the next milestone.
Press Build it. Read the sentence it says back and the chain of boxes: the event, any checks and each step.
Not right? Press Change the words and try again.
Press Turn it on. Steps that send email wait for a person: Approve or Decline them as they come.
Good to know
- A rule runs only while the Operations Agent is on.
- Each run, and what it handed to which agent, is in its log.
